Our Men claimed four of the top five highest spots in Beds and collectively placed the Club back in the top thirty of British Men’s Team competition.
Testing his endurance over by competing in long distance events, whilst claiming twelve Masters Club records, Mark Lewis capped his year to be our highest scoring decathlete. Karen MacKenzie was our highest scoring female for the 4th successive year. Both finished as the second highest ranking in Beds County.
Total scores from one year to the next are affected by the number and mix of events entered. However, the age adjustments used for the competition demonstrate how a swimmer might maintain or even better their scores – even for those who might have started to swim slightly slower times as we “mature”.
