Safeguarding

Team Luton takes the safeguarding of children and young people very seriously.

Team Luton Swimming Club has been chosen to take part in a trial of an application called Club Portal. This is designed to give you an option to report concerns to our Welfare Officers – Charlene Huntley and Nicki Scrivener, if you are unable to speak to them in person.

The online link to a short referral form will go directly to Charlene and Nicki, who will be able to assess your concern and deal with it appropriately.

Please click here to access the reporting form or scan the QR code to let our Welfare Officers know of any concerns you may have.

We fully adopt Wavepower which is the Swim England safeguarding policy and procedures. These help to provide a safe, happy and fun environment where children and adults can develop their skills. The full Wavepower document may be found HERE.

As a parent or guardian you play a key role in your child’s success and happiness at the club. Therefore Wavepower have provided general guidance for parents and guardians. These can be found here.

You can also refer to Team Luton’s Child Protection Policy.

We also have an Anti-Bullying Policy.

For further information or guidance, please contact our  Welfare Officers  – Charlene Huntley or Nicki Scrivener
