Welcome to Team Luton

Team Luton Swimming Club is a well-established, friendly and highly successful competitive swimming club based at Inspire: Luton Sports Village.

We encourage everyone starting from their very first local swim meet through to competing at County, Regional and National level.  The Club prides itself on providing a supportive environment that enables all swimmers, regardless of age, to reach their full competitive potential. Indeed in 2024 our Juniors, Seniors and Masters, including para swimmers, continued the Club’s tradition of success at all levels on distances ranging from 50m to 1,500m as well as in Open Water competitions.

If you are interested in joining, contact either the Club’s Secretary or Masters Secretary. Read here for more about us or click on any of the drop down menus for much more information.

Three East Region Open Water Champions

The 2024/25 Competitive season for our “age group” swimmers ended with all seven of our entrants in the Beds County Open Water Champions gaining top three placings.

With ages spanning over 50 years, three also emerged from the water at Whitlingham as East Region champions. Visit the News page for the full roll of honour!

All Nine Masters Rise To The Challenge At Barnet

All nine of our Masters squad who competed at the 35th Barnet Masters Distance Meet had their names added to the Beds County Masters Records with a total of five individual and four relay records being claimed. For both Rachael Donlan and Tom Burns that was their first County Masters Record recognition.

Achieving relay records was one of two principal challenges set before the Meet; the other was racing a 200m Butterfly for the first time. Read here to find who was “brave’ enough to take it on!

Multiple Medals and Records (and a bonus “meal deal”) at GB Masters

Friday 13th proved to be far from being an unlucky day for our Masters down in London at the British Masters championships. By the end of the Meet three days later, the six swimmers had brought home two gold, five silver and two bronze medals with three East Region, ten County and thirteen Club records to their name.
