Our Ladies took centre stage at the 2019 Barnet Masters Sprints Meet. They collected 17 medals, emulating their male colleagues, but had the surprise bonus of breaking a Beds County Masters relay record whilst adding to what is already the Club’s highest ever Ladies Team decathlon score. Congratulations to Karen Mackenzie, Kelly Cooke, Jodie Armstrong and Michelle Neal on breaking the 160+ years 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay record in a time of 2:06.20 at the Barnet Copthall Masters Sprints Meet. All four swam 31 second splits; a great team effort.

Congratulations to club coach Dave Wright on his Bronze medal at the Swim England Open Water Championships. Dave’s medal came in his age group’s 3k swim. Alice Pinney meanwhile finished 4th in the 18-24 years’ Ladies 5k event.

Thank you to everyone who has entered our September Open Meet on 28/29 September 2019. We have now processed all of the entry files and have now created our Accepted Entry files. We were oversubscribed for our long distance events and so have created reserve lists for each of 800m and 1500m. If you have any queries please speak to us at galas@teamluton.com
