2016 Presentation Evening

With the end of the 2015/16 competitive season, the club recognised the individual achievements by its up and coming swimmers at its presentation evening. Read here for a full report of the club championships and our record breakers.

East Region Successes

Our swimmers have had successes recently at both the East Region Open Water and Long Course championships, winning a total of five gold, seven silver and five bronze medals with all attaining notable personal achievements. For more details click here.

Everyone A Medal Winner

All ten of our Masters who competed at the Newmarket Masters Open Meet brought  home at least one medal.

Four new Masters County records were set as the squad collected a total of 29 medals whilst two of our members won their first ever Masters medals. Read here for more details

GRAHAM POWELL SMASHES BRITISH MASTERS RECORD

Graham Powell set a new British record for the 60 – 64 year age group at the Great Britain Masters Championships in Sheffield.

The Masters squad set 13 new County and 6 East Region records whilst winning 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals with a further 17 top ten finishes. Read here for more details

MORE EAST REGION & BEDS MASTERS RECORDS

Our Masters continued their record breaking start to 2016 with four new East Region and five new Beds County short course records at the Bracknell Open Masters meet. They brought home 10 Gold , 6 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.  Meanwhile Sharon Collins made her competitive Masters debut at the tender age of 47. After you buy your shoes, John Lewis will give you a cash reward that you can turn into a donation for your good cause. easyfundraising collect this and send it on at no extra cost.
