Karen MacKenzie won all six of her races at Newmarket as our Masters collected 12 Gold, 8 Silver and 3 Bronze medals with Graham Powell breaking his own 200m Freestyle County record. All six swimmers were in medal winning form. Read on for full report…
A number of our Masters kick-started their 2017 competitive year at the South East Long Course Championships, bringing home a total of eight medals whilst bagging an East Region and two Beds County Masters records in the process. Read here for a full report.
Congratulations to our men who have finished in 15th place in the 2016 Great Britain Masters Decathlon Team competition, having amassed a grand total of 16,495 points. It is the third successive year they have finished in the Top 20.
Well done also to our ladies team who rose to 142nd (out of 459 teams), a massive leap up from 315th place in 2015.

The 2016 National Masters Championships in Sheffield yielded two champions in Graham Powell and Dave Wright with nine medals, three East Region and six Beds County Masters’ records for Team Luton. Graham Powell set a new British record for the 60 – 64 year age group at the Great Britain Masters Championships in Sheffield.
The Masters squad set 13 new County and 6 East Region records whilst winning 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals with a further 17 top ten finishes. Read here for more details
Our Masters continued their record breaking start to 2016 with four new East Region and five new Beds County short course records at the Bracknell Open Masters meet.
