Team Luton won one gold, six silver and two bronze medals at the Welsh Open Masters Championships with Kelly Cooke breaking the club’s 45 – 49 years’ 200m Freestyle record as she stormed to victory.
Team Luton are delighted to announce that we are now accepting entries for our March Long Course Open Meet. This will be held at Inspire on 19 and 20 March 2022 and licensed as 1ER220159.

Our pool operator has now confirmed pool availability for 2022 and we can confirm the dates for our Open Meets. These can be found here. We have applied for licences and once we have received these we will publicise them together with our entry packs
Our Masters won a total of 2 Gold, 6 Silver and 7 Bronze medals whilst setting 5 East Region, 15 Beds County and a further 6 Club Masters records at the Swim England National Masters Championships.

With cases of Coronavirus rising, particularly among children, we have undertaken a thorough risk assessment together with our pool operator. From this we have developed guidance to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Please can you read this guidance thoroughly and ensure that your swimmers understand its contents as well.
Most importantly please can everyone intending to be in the venue strive to take a lateral flow test on Friday 22 October and to not attend should the test come back positive.

After 18 months’ absence due to the COVID pandemic, seven of our Masters’ squad revelled in being back in competition, all winning medals at the Barnet Masters Sprint Plus Meet. They won a total of 10 Gold, 8 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals. Three were also in County Masters record-breaking form. Read here for further details.
This meet was massively oversubscribed and so we have now closed to any further entries. Accepted Entries, the final programme and waiting list for the long-distance events can be found here
Many thanks to the many clubs and swimmers who have entered our Open Meet on 23/24 October. The response has been phenomenal and we are now FULL and unable to accept any further entries. We are in the process of responding to those who have entered with details of accepted and rejected entries.
We hope that this will have concluded by 19 September and will post more information on our Open Meet page at this point.
