Fantastic results from the 2018 Swim England National Masters & Seniors Championships. We won a total of three Gold, three Silver and four Bronze individual medals, a Relay Silver and set three new Beds County Masters records.
With ages ranging from 22 to 63 years, all ten squad members who competed swam either a lifetime and /or season best times.
Club Coaches Alex Mason and Dave Wright together with Graham Powell each won an individual title. Read here for a full report.
Tom Lambert (23) and Sam Bradley (25) each won five medals at the 2018 East Region Masters (& Seniors) Championships.
A grand total of 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze medals were brought home by the six members of our Masters & Senior squad who competed at the championships. Read here for more details on the East Region meet

We are very pleased to announce that we are now accepting entries for our December Open Meet to be held on 9 December 2018 at Inspire Luton Sports Village.
This Meet has no minimum qualifying times and so is a great opportunity for younger swimmers to get a time onto the rankings or improve their Personal Bests. As it is also in the window, more experienced swimmers will appreciate this last-chance opportunity to get a County time.
This Meet includes 50/100/200 metre races in all strokes together with 400 freestyle and 200 /400 Individual Medleys.

The 2017/18 competitive swimming season has ended with a flurry of outstanding swims over a two-week period across the length and breadth of the British Isles. One English Champion, four National medals, two Beds County records and numerous personal best times were the icing on the cake for a year which has seen well over 100 of the Club’s own records broken. Congratulations to Abbie Barnwell qualifying for the National Open Water championships on 30th July, following her swim at the East Region event.
From ages ranging from 11 up to 57 years, our swimmers won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze East Region medals and 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Beds County medals. Read here for more details.
For the period up to w/c 27th August there is a reduced training schedule for sessions at Inspire. During that time there is no land training. Masters’ sessions continue as normal at Lewsey. Click here for the Inspire timetable.
Skills Lead Coach, Alex Mason, set a new Beds County 18 – 24 years’ record at the Barnet Masters Distance Meet. Together with Sam Bradley, John O’Rourke, Sonia Bentley and Sharon Thompson, we won 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. Read here for a full report.

This is our second gala of the new swimming season and a great opportunity to register Personal Bests and to qualify for County and Regional Championships.
