TEAM LUTON DECEMBER OPEN MEET

We are very pleased to announce that we are now accepting entries for our December Open Meet to be held on 9 December 2018 at Inspire Luton Sports Village.

This Meet has no minimum qualifying times and so is a great opportunity for younger swimmers to get a time onto the rankings or improve their Personal Bests. As it is also in the window, more experienced swimmers will appreciate this last-chance opportunity to get a County time.

This Meet includes 50/100/200 metre races in all strokes together with 400 freestyle and 200 /400 Individual Medleys.

Six Finalists At British & National Summer Championships

The 2017/18 competitive swimming season has ended with a flurry of outstanding swims over a two-week period across the length and breadth of the British Isles. One English Champion, four National medals, two Beds County records and numerous personal best times were the icing on the cake for a year which has seen well over 100 of the Club’s own records broken. Open Water Successes Across The Ages

Congratulations to Abbie Barnwell qualifying for the National Open Water championships  on 30th July, following her swim at the East Region event.

From ages ranging from 11 up to 57 years, our swimmers won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze East Region medals and 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Beds County medals. Read here for more details.

We are very excited to announce that we are now accepting entries for our October Open Meet to be held on 20 and 21 October at Inspire Luton Sports Village.

This is our second gala of the new swimming season and a great opportunity to register Personal Bests and to qualify for County and Regional Championships.

We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting entries for our September Open Meet to be held on 29 and 30 September at Inspire Luton Sports Village. This is a great opportunity to start the new competitive season.

This Meet has no minimum qualifying times and we also welcome swimmers who have no times registered on the rankings database.

15 Medals Won At East Region Long Course Championships

Congratulations  to all sixteen of our swimmers who competed over the three weekends of the East Region Long Course championships. We won a total of 1 gold, 4 silver and ten bronze medals with many individual PBs. The medals total was more than any other club in Bedfordshire reflecting the breadth of talent and is testament to the time given by all of our coaches. Read here for full report.
