Powell And Wright Are National Masters Champions
The 2016 National Masters Championships in Sheffield yielded two champions in Graham Powell and Dave Wright with nine medals, three East Region and six Beds County Masters’ records for Team Luton. This bettered our 2015 performance when the squad brought home eight medals. Read here for a full report.

“Tri-Nation” Age Group Successes
A number of our swimmers have just returned from competing at the ASA, Welsh and Irish National Summer Championships. Celyn Walmsley won a gold medal in Swansea whilst Ralph Muncer brought home a silver from Sheffield. Read here for more details.
East Region Successes
Our swimmers have had successes recently at both the East Region Open Water and Long Course championships, winning a total of five gold, seven silver and five bronze medals with all attaining notable personal achievements. For more details click here.

All ten of our Masters who competed at the Newmarket Masters Open Meet brought home at least one medal.

GRAHAM POWELL SMASHES BRITISH MASTERS RECORD
Graham Powell set a new British record for the 60 – 64 year age group at the Great Britain Masters Championships in Sheffield.
The Masters squad set 13 new County and 6 East Region records whilst winning 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals with a further 17 top ten finishes. Read here for more details
