Finals and top ten places were secured by all, topped off by Matthew winning Gold in the English 400m Freestyle, albeit representing Bath University where he has just finished his first year’s studies. Read here for a full report.

The fantastic results are testament to all of the hours put in by our swimmers and all of our coaching staff. Team Luton in the County Record Books!

Over the weekend of 13th / 14th May we ran our second Long Course open meet within this year’s National Qualifying window. It was another well organised competition, running smoothly from start to finish, enabling swimmers from clubs all over the UK to enjoy themselves and swim fast.

The meet itself provided some big improvements, especially from our younger swimmers competing. There was also a notable success in the form of a Senior County Record in the Women’s 400m Freestyle for Chantal Smith. Her winning time was 4:27.73. Congratulations Chantal!

Adam Taylor, our Head Coach, said, “It’s great to see the commitment and hard work from both swimmers and coaches alike paying off.  A massive thank you to all of the volunteers who have helped run our competitions so far this season – we have one left in July which I’m sure will be just as much of a success as all of the others. We couldn’t do it without you!”

Times and positions from both the April and May Long Course meets continue to be available at RESULTS.
